Used for daily stropping prior to shaving, this German Made Extra Wide Hanging Strop is made from the finest leather and has a swivel clasp allowing you to clip onto a hook or to a round clasp.

This single sided leather strop allows simple back and forth stropping rather than a figure of eight or X pattern required with narrower strops.

Stropping may be done with or without non abrasive paste as this maintains the quality of the leather and prevents drying out. 
It must be remembered that the purpose of stropping is not to remove material, but rather to straighten up and align the microscopic teeth that are at the edge of the blade
